In addition to the Friday evening lecture, Karine Munk Finser, will be offering a weekend course using pastels, to work with Light, Darkness and Color, Color Circles, and 7 aspects of  the will.

In the two days’ workshop, participants will be introduced to Goethe’s color circle through prism exercises and experience Rudolf Steiner’s 12 fold color circle which has been brought to artists by Liane Collot d’Herbois. We will use chalk pastels and create each our own soul landscape, strengthening the freeing of the will and addressing the individual pure love forces. If time allows, we will practice some free light, darkness, and color exercises, focusing on strong, weak, medium, or central light.

Participants will explore color and paint a landscape, between the thresholds of light and darkness. The instructor will guide the paintings but participants are free to explore and discover individual expression.

This will be a safe artistic environment where all levels are welcomed. Bring your pastels if you have some.

Karine has taught painting, drama and anthroposophy as an art therapist and teacher for many years. As faculty at Antioch University New England, Karine initiated a master’s degree program in Healing Education. She also serves as the summer Renewal Program Coordinator for the Center for Anthroposophy. Due to her dedication and efforts through the years, those who have worked with Karine are now bringing color and vitality to life all over the country.
