Biodynamic Composting Workshop and Stirring Horn Manure April 23
Biodynamic Agriculture aims to be a human service towards healing the earth. It is a type of organic agriculture that strives to create a diverse and balanced ‘farm organism’ that provides for itself. It bridges healthy bodies with healthy soils through the use of special homeopathic medicines used in compost making and directly on the earth or plants. Over time soil fertility grows and the earth is replenished. Biodynamically-based nutrition increases health, thinking, and learning.

Tal Simchoni has been practicing Biodynamic agriculture since 2000. He managed a 2 acre biodynamic vegetable garden at Camphill Village Minnesota, an intentional community and farm with special needs adults, for 6 years. He currently lives in South Minneapolis with his partner and child. He cares for and installs vegetable gardens, maintains landscape gardens, and does handyman work.
Linda Bergh’s residence is the site of an urban garden in the heart of Linden Hills. Along with Tal Simchoni, she plans to install a two-tiered rain garden in Spring 2016 in the front yard to capture a rain event of up to 2″. She is applying for funding for this project from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, and is excited to share this process with you. Linda has taught biography classes for many years.
